For my first idea I want to try and create a few dark, emotional, deep and impacting album covers but using really dull colours. Thsi would be really hard to do in a pop art effect like Julian Opie has done, Because pop art is really bold, bright and stands out alot. So to accomplish this would be great but hard.
I feel I need to show a number of different techniques to see whats best.
These are the techniques I will try:
- Collage - different pieces of magazines, newspapers and articles of the person or object and put into one image.
- Pop Art - But dark and emotional.
- Abstract collage - a series of images of the same person put into one image.
I will post these on my blog to show and see what others think.
